Official Announcement: Temporary Closure of Dane Smith Hall - Summer 2025
This statement informs all faculty, staff, students, and affiliates that Dane Smith Hall will be temporarily offline and
unavailable for scheduling classes or events during the Summer 2025 academic period. This closure is necessary to facilitate
essential maintenance work and infrastructure upgrades within the building.
The planned work is crucial to ensure a functional, and optimal environment for all occupants in the long term.
We understand that this temporary closure may cause some inconvenience, and we appreciate your cooperation as we undertake
these important improvements.
Your patience and understanding are greatly valued as we work to enhance our facilities. For any urgent concerns or
inquiries related to this closure, please contact loborooms@unm.edu
To request a classroom for a special event please, completely fill out the following form and press the submit button to e-mail the request to our office. We schedule rooms for UNM Colleges, Departments or UNM Chartered Student Organizations. For Scheduling and Campus Security purposes, request will be reviewed and/or scheduled in three to four business days notice prior to events, especially for weekend events.
All ticketed events must go through UNM Ticketing Services
NO EXCEPTIONS.
